I love Carnival !! My name is Crystal I live in Northern Cali. This was my first ever cruise. We started off with a long flight to Miami which was cancelled do to mechanical errors thankfully after hours of trying we made it to Miami on time. We were going to stay at the Miami Hilton they have a great deal for $175 they will pick you up at the airport and drop you off at the port the next day. Breakfast is also included. It is called pre cruise package.

We paid for the faster to fun which is called an excursion it is $49.95 for the whole cabin this put us on the ship by lunch time it was awesome! Our first stop was Half Moon Cay-Its a beautiful beach that you are tendered to. Free barbecue however we chose to go back to the ship for lunch at Guys burgers they are awesome. The sea days are nice however it is very crowed on the ship. I didn't mind though and we were always able to swim.

Getting off the ship and back on at the ports was so easy it was unbelievable. I was nervous at first but it was ran very smooth. St Thomas has the best shopping especially for jewelry. Since we didn't do any excursions we walked every where and I was ok with that. San Juan was ok but the shopping was kind of expensive because of high taxes. There is a Star bucks there for those who need to sit down and relax. We went to one of the spanish forts it cost five dollars each to get in but was cool to look at. We ate at Senior Frogs and were disappointed the food was very bland and it was $50 dollars for nachos for my husband, son and I. It is fun to watch the workers though they danced. They were also giving out free shots of liquor. Next time we will find a place more authentic. Grand Turk had shopping and the beach was right off the port. The sand and water wasn't as nice as Half Moon Cay.

Balcony

Cabin 8C

The cabin was very nice and plenty of room. I loved the balcony. I guess you can get a bigger balcony but ours worked great for us. I am not sure what kind of balcony it was. But it was on the 7th floor. We were close to the laundry and that was great.

There was a shower and no tub but we didn't need it.

Over all the rooms were a place to rest and were very clean.

The beds were very comfortable. I was surprised because usually hotel beds are too hard for me. We had a king size bed and our son had a single.
