I have been taking cruises for over 10 years and have sailed on NCL, Celebrity, MSC, RCCL and Princess as well as one cruise on Carnival Breeze. To say I was disappointed would be a huge understatement.

I was cruising with three other women and two of us are seniors. We had problems with our hotel shuttle and did not get to the port until 10:30 but luckily the lines were not too bad. Getting through the embarkation was easy and fairly fast. Naturally the waiting room was full and we had to stand against a wall unless we all wanted to sit in separate areas in chairs. Anyway, I expected to be on the ship by noon which has been normal on my other cruises. On this one we did not get aboard until after 1:30.

We headed to the buffet which was not as crowded as I expected and I did like the layout of the tables. After eating we headed down to our cabins only to find out that one of them (an ocean view) was not yet ready. It was now after 2 PM and again this is late for having the cabins open. We dropped our luggage off in our balcony cabin on deck 6.

Cabin Review

Aft-View Extended Balcony

Cabin 8N

Cabin was the normal size and there was plenty of storage areas. The shower enclosure is small and I am not a fan of shower curtains since the shower overflowed a few times. Often the water would not go above warm even when set at 50. The balcony looked large but because the railing is angled inwards there is actually about 3 feet of unusable space. It did hold two loungers and a chair. VERY NOISY AT NIGHT. I don't think it would matter which cabin you were in with the music and partying going on.
