This is our experience on just one NCL trip and the only other cruise we've taken was with Disney. Our cabin, 9188 is above the Stardust Theater and more troublesome, directly below the children's playroom. Our cabin needed freshening in general, but it was very clean and we had no problems. We had an excellent steward who catered to our every request. We liked the ship as it isn't too big and all we wanted was comfortable transportation between ports.

The daily pounding on our ceiling from children was not at all enjoyable. Staff knows this and I'm told there are complaints ever cruise. We booked almost a year in advance and people who booked after us had more desirable cabins on the same deck.

Specialty dining option was worth the cost. The main dinning room "Windows" is rather nice and the food at breakfast and lunch was fine. Dinner is an another matter and we did not enjoy any of the four attempts. The last time we just left it. The buffet, in my estimation, is lacking in that everything was served barely warm. I doubt it would pass US Health standards with food at such low temperatures. Le Bistro was excellent and Cagney's okay. The Italian specialty dinning area is a blocked off section of the buffet and it is only a little better than buffet or Windows.

Cabin B3

A little worn, but very clean and enjoyable. It is located beneath children's playroom and the noise was terrible. After six days of escalating complaints, they offered to move us. But by then the trip had only five days left, we were settled in 9188 and we had an outstanding steward named Mr. Infante.
