This was our first cruise. We are Walt Disney World people! We took 11 family members with us ranging in age from 70-4. We had several issues, some of them Carnival's fault and some not. Within a few hours of departure of Galveston, we had a medical emergency on board and returned to Galveston as one cruiser was having a heart attack. To make up for lost time, the Captain increased the cruising speed to Cozumel to 23 knots. We were late getting into Cozumel, but Carnival did the best they could.

My wife does not drink coffee. She is a Diet Coke person so we purchased the Bottomless Bubbles package for 9 of the 11 family members. This was a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY! The only place on board that you can get soft drinks is a the bars. This means that the bars must be open to get soft drinks. We are early risers! There is no way to get a Diet Coke until after 800am. And when the bars are open, you will stand in line waiting for the bartenders to finish making their margaritas to get a soft drink. If you order a soft drink from Room Service, you will pay $2.25 each as they will not honor the Bottomless Bubbles Package.

Our stateroom was better than we expected. We were in stateroom 1055 and were pleasantly surprised that the bathroom and shower were larger than we expected. Our stateroom steward was fantastic!

Great room on the Panorama Deck. Close to everything.

I recommend Carnival's Faster To Fun. It gets you on board quicker. Your stateroom will be ready when you board. You disembark quicker. This is a great value.
