Took our 2nd NCL cruise on the Getaway. We arrived to Miami port around 11:30.
Check in moved pretty quickly. We then went to the waiting area. Boarding started right around 11:30. Our boarding number was called and we boarded around 12:20. We checked but rooms were not ready so we met the other 2 members of our party and ate in the MDR-Taste. We have never eaten in the MDR on embarkation day. This will be a new routine for us. It was a wonderful meal and very relaxing.
After lunch we went to our room. Our luggage had arrived so we quickly unpacked. We went to the safety drill at 3:30. It really wasn't much of a drill. Lasted just a few moments.
Cabin Review

I rated the cabin as poor. Only reason was the size. I have never had a cabin this small.
But it was fine for us. We made it work and we are not in the room that much so would consider it again.
My husband fussed the whole week about the water pressure of the shower.
