My husband and I and 2 friends booked a 3 day Bahamas cruise with RC leaving from Florida. I am a resident of California which means I had to purchase flight, rental car, and hotel as well as cruise tickets. On the day of the trip we were informed that we were being rerouted from our original destination (Nassau 8am-11:30pm) to Freeport (8am-5:30pm) which means we lost 6 hours of time. The next day we would travel to Cococay only to find out we would be spending a "day at sea", losing the complete last day of our trip.

We were stuck on the ship with housekeeping that refuses to knock before entering your room. Most of the time, walking in on you while half dressed. Imagine walking out of the shower while housekeeping is entering your room. When I complained at the front desk, they said that I must resolve this when I exit the ship. When my friend called, the RC representative informed her that only the 5 day cruises were being compensated for the itinerary change. When I called, the service agent was rude and told me to "get over it" because thats a risk you take when you take a cruise. When I explained about the housekeeping, he accused me of lying. Why would I ever cruise again with the service I was given?

We lost 80% of our trip and had a horrible, uncomfortable experience. We spent $2500.00 to be in the Bahamas for 9 hours, for housekeeping to violate our privacy and for customer service to accuse us of lying and tell you to "get over it".
