This was our 4th cruise on Princess, first on the Regal. The ship was immaculate, but very large. We were in a mid ship mini-suite which gave us plenty of room for ourselves and to entertain a small group for an impromptu wine tasting.

The positives were first the food. We had the best main dining room food that we have experienced on our four cruises. We especially enjoyed the 50th celebration dinner. The osso bucco ravioli was the best pasta I have had on a Princess cruise. And, unlike other main dining room dinners, the steak was as good as I have had in the specialty restaurants even cooked medium rare as I like it. We had a group from CC that signed up for two wine maker's dinners and they were fabulous, especially the first one which featured the Mondavi recipes.

I highly recommend this specialty dinner for $40, with several glasses of wine and lattes with dessert.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Spotless, still like new. Plenty of room. One design issue I had was we had friends in the next cabin and we asked to have the balcony opened up. When they open the balcony, the panel must be latched right in front of the sliding glass door on one of the cabins. This not only makes exiting the cabin more difficult but also affects your view significantly from inside the cabin.
