We have been on loads of cruises with most of the Cruise Companies. This is the worst ship we have been on. My wife follows a particular diet and we had real difficulty with the staff in getting her food needs correctly met. On the first night we were told that there was no chef available to cook my wife some simple pasta with tomato sauce and that we should have "pre-ordered". They did not seem to understand that we had just go to the ship.
On other cruises the Captain has used the PA system to welcome guests on board at the time of the lifeboat drill. We only ever heard the captain once when he was telling us about a medical emergency on board. We never saw him in person at any time.
This is an old ship and whilst it is kept very clean it is showing signs of age.
Typical cruise ship balcony cabin.
However, the balcony is very small.
In the queen bed arrangement there is a bedside cabinet on only one side of the bed. Only a small thing but annoying when nowhere to put my clock, drink, tablets etc.
