This was our 17th cruise on Carnival, so we know the routine. We went down a day early and embarkation was great. We are Platinum , so that helps a lot. The ship is an older one and is well maintained. I wish that it had already undergone the upgrades ( due next spring), but we knew that when we booked. Nassau, St. Thomas. San Juan were good to visit. We had some weather issues and were not able to make Grand Turks.

The service was excellent on most occasions. Our room Stewart did not meet us until the third day. Most of the staff was smiling and friendly except one bartender on the Lido deck, Zoria was rude and acted like she did not want to be there. As I said earlier, I wish that the ship had already been upgraded. Carnival seems to be cutting back in a few places. There use to be entertainment in several venues, now only the Atrium and Casino area are used for dancing. The Comedy club was booked Sat, Sun and Mon. We were suppose to get new comedians Thursday at Grand Turk, but since we could not go there, we had no more comedy shows for the week. Carnival needs to upgrade and rethink its entertainment schedule. Even the theater shows (2) were a little dated and lacking. I must give credit to the performers in the second show because they did perform while the ship was rocking a lot.

As I said, all total it was enjoyable and I have two more set for next year.
