Thanks to our captain for good decisions and keeping us safe. Thanks to the crew for keeping us safe and as happy as possible. Thanks to the staff and entertainment for doing all they could to counter a hurricane and what became a real trip to nowhere. Entertainment was exceptional, even without the ability to showcase all the bells and whistles that the stage was capable of.....hard to counter the motion of the ship and smart not to try

Food was wonderful. Steakhouse was my favorite. Service everywhere never skiped a beat even though you know they are not used to us never leaving the ship. Thank you Carnival for the generous offer to return, which we will soon, just probably out of hurricane season.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

Well, would have been the very best possible, but, during extremely rough seas and the hurricane Joaquin near,,,,at about 3:45 am we were awakened by water pouring on our bed.....and I mean pouring!!!!

Turns out it was condensation from air conditioner.....and crew was in our room in probably 3 minutes from call. maintenance 3 minutes after that and housekeeping too.

Anything was possible on this cruise, scary for a bit, after all, water coming onto your bed in the middle of the ocean during a hurricane is not pleasant, but take that moment out and all was great!

Port Reviews

Half Moon Cay

Never got there. Captain made a great decision.....

Never got here either, again Captain made a great decision....Even had he took us there we would have been miserable in the wind and rain....Better we are all alive and well and able to thank him.....

Grand Turk

We scheduled an excursion, but it was canceled, (thank God) due to weather, so we walked around in the rain for a while and then settled in at Margerettaville, which was really great and fun until the storm came in and we were directed back to the ship asap.

crowded due to late arrival of ship,,,,took couple hours to straighten all out
