Sailed through Sydney harbour at sunset, beautiful as always. Spent a day in Brisbane, we are locals so just hung around the port and had relatives and friends come to visit for the day.
Next stop Alotau, tropical, steamy, hazy, primitive, untouched, friendly, very cute young locals and Great War history. Did the ship Milne Bay war history tour which we really enjoyed, very informative.
Onto Doini Island, this place is straight out of a National Geographic film shoot, stunningly perfect, great snorkelling and swimming though the undertow makes it a it hard to get out of the water, watch that if a bit unsteady on your feet. There will be local markets here, take some Kina to donate to the local church and school groups.
Great War history tour, very good.
