We are very disappointed with this Celestyal Cruise. The cabin was very shabby with holes in the walls that had been filled but not painted and thread bare curtains that didn't close properly. The bathroom had rust evident in the shower and the grout in the floor was falling out. It was obvious there was a problem with the drainage as there were stains on the carpet in the passage way and a suction pump was being used as well as a blower to dry the carpet. The cabin staff were friendly and did the best they could with what they had to work with. The food and wine was average but the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. It is clear that this ship needs a full makeover before it would become pleasant to sail on, it was not a good experience for our first cruise. There was a newsletter each day detailing what activities there were on board but no information about the various islands visited except to list the tours. The on shore excursions were very expensive, we did some ourselves by taxi which worked out well. While we enjoyed the Greek Islands we would not recommend this cruise at all.
