Well, let's start with the good: food was mediocre, dining room service was excellent when they remembered what we ordered, the casino.....ok so that's about it. Now the bad: there were more canes, wheelchairs and walkers than in a nursing home, with that being said, Carnival should know their clientele and not play Pink or Lady Gaga on the big screen or play nightly Marvel Comics movies. When the made his announcements, you could not understand him. He either needs to speak clearer or have someone else make the announcement Being the seasoned cruise line that Carnival is, you would think on the night before disembarkation, they would have the knowledge to have more than 2 people assisting passengers with settling their sign and sail accounts. We waited 45 minutes in line to pay off our account. The food: WHY on earth would Carnival only have the pizza place and the deli open between 2:30 p and dinner, on the days at sea. Who came up with that brilliant idea???? Where you trying to save food? Nighttime entertainment: the same old "song and dance" and that's exactly what I mean....song and dance every night, ho hum, boring. Excursions: we arrived late in the port of Boston, not being able to leave for Salem until 3:30, one hour bus ride and guess what...almost everything was closed and we got to see Chestnut St ( "the most beautiful street in MA") IN THE DARK, yippee that was worth the money! AND NOW THE BEST!!! The weather was so bad at the port of Halifax due to hurricane Jacquim, we could not dock. Now I understand this, BUT thought maybe we would get some compensation.....maybe a free drink for missing a port and having to spend another day at sea? That would've been nice . Pacify your passengers a little.......but no, all we got was a number to call if we had any concerns !!!

Now I wasn't going to write a review just take my lumps and walk away, UNTIL!!! I see a Bermuda cruise that was rerouted to "4" other ports AND rec'd 25 percent off their next cruise!!! Really? Seriously ?. ...

Never again, not on Carnival
