Lovely island but we just wandered around on our own

I'm lucky, I've been to Ephesus before. Good job as the tour guide marched us through the site at a quick pace, told us more about the cost of iphones in China then left us 20 mins to wander on our own with no further information. We visited the House of the Virgin Mary and had about an hour there when in truth 20 mins there would have been about right. It's like both places were round the wrong way. Great lunch included but the combination of a terrible tour guide and a faulty listenign device meant this tour was a hugh waste of money.

Great tour guide took us to her beautiful home town of Pyrgos with the famous white buildings with blue roofs. Lovely drives over the island and a wonderful stop at a winery (gave us a super mezze lunch and great wine) but I can't remember its name. Free time in Fira with time to shop and sightsee before getting the cable car back down.

Again another super, informative and patient tour guide. We headed up to the Acropolis and was told plenty of information before having some free time. I would say we had enough time there and we even managed a stop at the 1896 Olympic sight. Due to traffic however we didn't manage any free time in Athens unless we did it ourselves and made our own way back to the ship. We didn't as all aboard was fairly early and we wouldn't have had too long anyway. There is so much to do and we only got a small snip of whats on offer but enough to make me want to go back and visit the museums.

Another fantastic guide who told us so much info. Beautiful area and plenty to see and do the the Olympia site. We had some free time to shop and then visited a lovely winery with spectacluar views. Highly recommend this tour.

Lots of choice and plenty of high value cocktails/wines int he package.Plenty of choice even for the pickiest of eaters but standards seem to have dropped overall in the last couple of years.
