Two days of terrible weather weren't enough to "dampen" our spirits. Flash flooding in Portland and gale force winds and rain on our last sea day. Shore excursions cancelled in Portland making a very busy and noisy ship. Made the best of the days with exploring, reading and eating. We wish there had been more color in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia but it's been to warm. Acadia National park was wonderful.

The food was great! Le Bistro our best meal. Dining rooms much better than average but service was sometimes very slow. With such a diverse staff, the language barrier was sometimes a bit of a problem. But, who's in a hurry? Delicious steaks...every time. Also great no-sugar added sweets. And excellent sticky buns each morning but the last. I would have to say that all of the food never tasted like banquet food...even the buffets. It always tasted like made-to-order. Crepe station in the buffet on our last night was fantastic. Lots of seafood was offered in all of the restaurants.

Salvius, our room steward (9164) was amazing in his care and concern. And always a smile! Our cabin was aft but even with the horrible wind, rain and waves, the ship stayed fairly stable. Cabins are tiny and we didn't have much opportunity to use our balcony but it made the room SEEM larger. Plenty of room for storage. Coffee maker was well used. Good shower!
