Sail Date: Sep 2015

My wife and I and two friends sailed Barcelona to Venice during the last two weeks in September 2015. After experiencing Viking's warm hospitality on a river cruise two years ago we wondered about being on a ship with almost 5 times as many people. At no time during our trip did we ever feel that there were almost a thousand people sailing with us. Viking Star has so many wonderful spaces to have meals or sit and chat that we really felt as if we were on a private luxury yacht. The crew were totally focused on being excellent hosts and attended to our every need. Shore excursions were very enjoyable but I was happiest when I was on the ship. I cannot imagine being on a more comfortable ship than the beautiful Viking Star. Spacious cabins, exqusite dining, stunning service- Viking Star has it all.
