For years we have talked about taking a cruise and when the 7 day Canadian New England trip aboard the NCL GEM came up we thought it would be the perfect "maiden voyage" for us. We were not disappointed! We had perfect weather, calm seas and a team of people that spoiled us rotten. The excursions were just what we needed to maximize our time in each port, they were well planned and the guides were awesome. There was plenty to do on board and the FreeStyle dining was perfect for us. It is amazing how many different activities there were to do and the variety of entertainment was incredible.
Since we live in Connecticut we loved that we did not have to fly to meet up with the ship, we would definitely do this again.

Mid-Ship Balcony
Cabin was comfy and clean; our stewart really took great care of us. I think next time we will go up a level to get a bit more walking around space.
