The royal princess 12 nt british isles cruise aug 13 had a great port every day except for two sea days! this itinerary can be exhausting to get up early every day to be ready for another shore excursion that is generally eight or even nine hours in most cases in order to make the most of the opportunities of that port!

This is why we chose to do two back to back cruises with the same itinerary in order to alternated long shore excursion days with "walk of the ship with no plans day". that provided a sense of resting even when you still do a lot.

Of course, there is so much to see and do that even two days at each port barely scratches the surface of such wonderful places like ireland, scotland, wales, orkney islands, guernsey islands, and england!
