This was a fly cruise package. This all worked really well both on the outward and inward journeys - P and O had it very well organised. we landed in Genoa at about 10:30 and by 11:15 we were on the ship sampling the barbecue buffet. Our cabin was ready at about 2pm.
We had a balcony cabin which was fine although the bathroom is a tight fit. If I could have found a cat I could not have spun it around. But everything worked and supplied gels and so on were of reasonable quality.
We had freedom dining but only ate in the Ligurian restaurant once. Too fussy for us and not a brilliant section of food for our tastes.
Very good. Bit of rust on the balcony. Comfy beds and adequate storage. Bathroom not the largest! All kept very clean by the cabin crew.
We walked into the Old Town. Charming. Do the city walls walk then take lunch at the old harbour.
