I normally take 7 day cruises but wanted a quick get-away to celebrate my 60th birthday along with a friend who was also celebrating her birthday. At the last minute another friend joined us. We were in a balcony cabin. I will say the cabin was a bit small for 3 with not enough storage space. You could also not get out of the bathroom if the wardrobe door was open. Having said that, our cabin steward did an amazing job fulfilling each of our requests including an extra chair on the balcony. Ice was always in the bucket and the mini-fridge was emptied at our request.

We found the service to be excellent except for one spa issue. We had purchased the Ultimate Dining Package. Originally we planned two nights at Cagney's but the service was a bit spotty so ended up with two nights at LeBistro. I can't say enough about the wonderful service we experienced there. Food was great in all areas that we tried - specialty dining, buffet, and the main dining room. This was our problem with the spa: I had booked identical massage/facial/scalp/ankle treatments for myself and my friend. Mine was excellent - 75 minutes of pure wonderful. Afterwards my friend and I were comparing notes. She was left alone for about 20 of the 75 minutes and missed out on a number of things I experienced. She pointed this out to the manager. He offered a massage at the private island the next day for a reduced price of $79. She reserved her spot. On the private island, my friend spent an hour walking around trying to find the location of the massage therapist. She found the tables finally, but no one was there.

We had rented a cabana so she came back to the cabana. The maitre'd checked and found out the spa people decided not to come ashore and canceled any appointments that were made on shore without notifying anyone. My friend did complain to Guest Services when back onboard. They told her this was not acceptable and the Manager would be calling her to sort this out. She never received a call. Bottom line - other than the spa issue, I would highly recommend this ship. I received the best service I've had in a very long time.
