I clocked at least 9-10 hours more on a bus than I should have been. Viking should have given us a chance to cancel and/or rebook, as they knew well in advance that there had been no rain and the Danube was too low to travel on. Original ship replaced by the Freya, and we even had to repack and change ships back to the Njord. I realize weather is out of their control, but they had to know about it well in advance because all the locals said it was the lowest water level in 40-50 years. Service and meals on the ship were very nice, but there were five lunches off of the boat where there was absolutely no choice of food. City tours very rushed. Would not do this again..too risky and too much of an ordeal...certainly not relaxing in the least.

Cabin Review

Cabin water level

A little tight but good amenities and kept clean.
