worst ship of the carnival line. we sailed twenty something times with carnival ships and every one was excellent. This ship is not up to par with the others except food and dining. steward threw out my wifes new sneakers the first day thinking they were left from previous cruisers. After the steward cleaned the room, dirty towels were left in the shower. No ice or chocolates left anymore. Balcony was dirty and we wrote our initials in the dust on the inside table. We won a painting at the park west show but we didn't order a frame so they never sent it. Crew getting off and on were not friendly and even yelling at some people coming aboard with one soda, while the crew was allowed all they wanted to bring on. Most of the time the beverage areas were empty and after 7, only one was operating on lido deck. Same was for the ice cream machines. Lido deck was always greasy and tables were not cleared fast as people were looking for seats to eat. If this was my first cruise with carnival, I would not use them anymore, but I know from lots of voyages with them on other ships, that it is just the conquest is not very good. We only went to 3 ports instead of 4 because of a storm and we were never compensated for the port charges. Also, instead of taking us to a clear area away from the storm, the ship stayed one day in front of it and floated around Nassau for 2 days which was disappointing.
