Went on this cruise to celebrate my early retirement with friends and not knowing that the ship was heading from Barcelona into dry dock for a refurb. The ship wasn't full but still the crew could not cope. Breakfast to your cabin arrived on time but no chance of getting a drink before your dessert was served in the restaurants, the 'hot water' for the tea was so cold that the tea bags would not diffuse so coffee was the only option at breakfast and all meals took ages to arrive.

Disembarkation at Southampton was an accident waiting to happen. The so called colour coded approach to getting off was a shambles and they ended up calling all colours together after a 2.5 hour wait causing further chaos. We missed coaches and trains even though we had been assured by guest services that there would be no issue getting off by 9 a.m. We finally arrived at our respective coach and train stations at Midday!

The good bit of the ship was that the shows were very good apart from the Spanish Rumba Kings which were dire! The Cirque of Dreams was excellent and well worth seeing though there was no choice of meal as we were told there would be.

Acceptable for a week but very very dark. Needs some decent lighting in there.
