Allure Review

Transportation - We shared a cab from the Renaissance Barcelona Hotel to the port for only 20 Euros. Great ride at a great price despite the traffic.

On boarding - Totally easy. At the Barcelona port I gave the tagged checked bag to the porter and quickly headed to the RCCL check-in. For Gold members there were very few in line. Post check in but prior to boarding the ship there was a shop that I purchased a 6 pack (1.5 liter bottles) of water for only 8 Euros which is a lot cheaper than the 6 pack (1 liter bottles) of Evian for $47 on board. Although the cheaper water was still and packed by Nestle (Spain) I didn't really like. Tip - if your not starving, wait in the library. We had it all to ourselves.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Large Balcony

Cabin D1

Our balcony mid-ship stateroom (11598) was great. A good size and plenty of space for hanging garments. We removed the beverages in the fridge and replaced it with our water.
