We just completed a cruise from Barcelona to London on the Epic. It was the worst cruise I have ever been on. The ship was going in to be refurbished after this cruise and many of the crew were going on vacation so they did not care about the service to the guests. The cruise was unorganized, the debarcation was a "cluster". We were in line for over an hour and a half to get off the ship.meanwhile the crew were getting off like rats deserting a sinking ship! Every other cruise we have been on we were able to follow the directions and easily disembark.
For the whole cruise, communications were often conflicting or non- existent. For example, the daily paper said there would be no announcements regarding tag colors to depart, but they made announcements ,but they were wrong!
We had an issue with the Lisbon shore excursion as well.even though it was purchased through the cruise line, the bus was not allowed to let us off at the ship. They turned the bus away and we had to walk back to the ship. I went to guest services to complain but after standing there for 30 minutes, I gave up.
The cabin has an awkward layout. On the upside, it had a full size bathtub.
