Every part of the trip was outstanding. Pre- trip in Amsterdam was excellent, very nice hotel, trip advisors were very helpful. Every part of the cruise was well organized. They even made extra accommodations for the extreme heat in Germany, providing cool drinks or cool wash cloths upon our return from excursions. Air conditioning onboard was perfectly adequate to handle the heat. Buses on shore excursions were also comfortably cool. Service and meals onboard were excellent; despite the heat, we loved the soups at lunch! We usually took our soup & salad lunches up on deck so we could enjoy the scenery. The deck was partially covered to protect from the sun. We really didn't participate in any of the entertainment - we preferred taking a glass of wine up on deck to watch the sunset/moon rise.
