This was our 5th Cruise for to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. All previous cruises have all been Royal Caribbean.

Embarkation was smooth and fast (we did arrive very early to port). However, before passing security we were approached with the “sales team” trying to sell the drinks packages to us, we hadn’t even had time to think about drinking or should I say how much we might drink onboard. This “hard sell” moment was the moment I realised this was not going to be great cruise. I will also point out that this was probably the first and last time we received a smile from a member of staff. Don’t buy the drinks package until you have been on board at least one day and had a time to relax and think about which package you might need (if any).

The ship is sparkling clean, in fact it’s sparkling full stop. A bit “over the top” for my taste, lots of bling and LOTS of swirls and patterns going on everywhere. Tip: don’t pack any busy or patterned clothing if you want to look good on Preziosa. Think plain colours and classic lines for your evening wear. The interior design of the ship looks great when the ship is empty; fill it with passengers and it looks like someone “dropped the trifle”.
