I must say after reading months of reviews leading up to our September cruise I was a little concerned ....... I needn't have worried as this is a fantastic ship.

Embarkation was a dream. From being dropped off at the Terminal, handing over our luggage and quick check in via iPad we were walking on the ship in less than 15 mins. We then walked straight up to one of the many drinks package sales desks, upgraded to Premium drinks package and had a Martini and Glass of Prosecco in hand in Two70 less than 10 mins later. Fastest and smoothest embarkation ever!

Yes we heard many moaning over "on Indy the MDR was great" and "on Indy the parades were fantastic" etc etc. Well believe it or not Anthem is not Indy or any other Freedom class ship. Anthem is a beautiful ship and more like a Celebrity S Class ship on steroids than other RC ship. I became tired of the moaners (predominantly Indy cruisers) as they clearly were blind to anything other than what they'd previously experienced on Indy. You didn't book Indy; this is a completely different class of ship!
