The Costa web page lacks of enough information. We did not know anything about our dinner and if water was included or not. We got that information the first day we got to the ship because we went to the front desk and ask. Our room was old and dirty, some lights did not work, dusty, I had to fix the shower head because it would not stay up, there was not an iron in the room we had to rent it!

At dinner time we had to share our table with two other people! We took the cruise as our honeymoon! And we had to share table? Even on breakfast you could not sit alone! And on the buffet people would just share the table because there was not enough space! The food is not that good (except on dinner) the buffet is until 4pm and there is a "Merienda" time that is just one hour! So people is mean doing the lines because is not enough time to do the line and eat in one hour! And if you are hungry between lunch and dinner there was just a pizza and salad place that closes at 6pm. So between 6 and 9 (second dinner time) there is nothing you can eat.

The shows in the theater were mediocre except a few that were hire by Costa. I do not recommend this cruise and this Company. Workers are really nice and knowledgeable. The drinks prices are not that expensive, long island iced tea for 8.50 euros, beer for 5 and a gin and tonic for 7.50 so if you just have a few drinks a day the 25 euros unlimited package is not good but if your a bid drinker pay for it. The entertainment is not good. The excursions are expensive and the majority are useless because just paying the hop on hop of would be perfect but other excursions I recommend it like the Normandy beaches and mount St. Michele in the port of Cherbourg France (there is nothing to see or do in Cherbourg).

There was not an Iron on the cabin you have to pay for it (rent it) the room was old, not all lights working and smell like cigarette.

Port Reviews

Amsterdam

The best port! We went to Ann Frank museum and the line was two hours! So buy the entrance online that is better just be aware that they give you a specific hour to be there so do not take it early cause is like at least one hour to disembark and find your way to get there. The Van Gogh museum the line is not that long and is a great experience.

Dover

We took a two hour train to London so we had only four hours the see it. If you think you are going to comeback to London in another moment I would recommend to just stay in Dover and see the cliffs and then take a short train and go to Canterbury and see the castle. London is impossible to see in four hours unless you just want a few photos with the parliament (big ben), the royal palace and the London tower.

Lisbon

We just took the Hop on Hop of and it was great! 19 euros per person and it includes a tuck tuck ride! It is not need to pay for an excursion.

Vigo

Take a one hour train and go to Santiago de Compostela, it is beautiful.
