My disappointment is more on the Oceanview Buffet and the value we paid. First of all, the food was generally good in the main dining and the service was better in comparison to our last Princess cruise. But the buffet was just so so and not a lot of selections at all. It basically served the same food everyday, and so was the afternoon pastries. The ship was lack of activities and you had to pay extra for yoga and art classes etc. The shuttle transfer at Marseille for $20 was definitely a rip off. Basically I felt that everything in additional was a PREMIUM add-on price. We booked the cruise directly with Celebrity five months earlier but no upgrade for us, and they even removed my promotional discount in the second invoice and I had to call them to correct it. What a hassle! In generally, I think Princess did a better job in value and food and activities. The embarkation and disembarkation went very smooth though and the ship was very new and clean so it was a plus. Overall I think there is room for improvement in this cruise.
Brugge is beautiful and easy to walk around.
Must try the pastel de nata in Belem.
Not much to see, but the beach is nice.
Spectacular view at the Mediterranean Steps.
Not a big port, easy to walk around. Took metro to Longchamp Park.
