My friend and I booked this cruise quite last minute and based on reviews had quite low expectations.

We had two nights in Venice pre cruise which were most enjoyable and w shared a taxi t the port with a mother and daughter we met n our hotel who were on the Splendour too.

When we arrived at the port the embarkation seemed very well organised and we were on board in no time. Our cabin was an outside on deck 2 and was bigger than we expected with a large window and plenty storage.
