We recently did a Canada / New England cruise with Liberty of the Seas. We have cruised many times before with different cruise lines but I have to say this was one of my favorites. We had room 7536 and I loved the size of the balcony and the proximity to the elevator and the stairs. It was very quite and had an adjoining room with our friends. The only thing that did annoy me a bit was that we boarded at 11 am and were able to get to our room at 1:30 pm which is fine, however we didn't get our luggage until 5:15 pm. This wasn't the fault of our cabin stewart - Camelot as he did the best he can and got our bags to us quickly, but I believe the dock workers certainly could of loaded our bags earlier in the day. We watched them load our luggage at 4:30 even though they had it since 10 am.

We dined at 5:30 pm which was a bit early and if I was to do it again I would choose my own time dining, however our servers Dairo and Mihail we amazing. The food in the dining room for lunch and dinner was excellent. There were many nights that I had a hard time deciding what to eat as there were so many great options. The breakfast service and food wasn't as good but then I am not a "breakfast" person so it didn't bother me much. I only did the buffet once and certainly disliked it. I am not a buffet person but I thought the food wasn't as good there as in the dining room.

The entertainment on board was amazing from the skating shows to Saturday Night Fever and I loved the "mall" part of the ship on deck 5. I found some really great deals and did a lot of shopping there even though I am not a shopper. They had some good places to eat on the deck 5 also so we did go there quite a bit during the day. We took 4 excursions in Boston we did the Trolley Bus for 1:45 minutes. This was my least favorite of them all as the seats were not comfortable and we were not able to get out and take pictures. I feel I didn't really see Boston as much as I was hoping to. In Portland Maine we did the Kennebunkport tour and enjoyed it. The only comment I would make was that I wish we had more time in Kennebunk to eat and visit the shops. In New Brunswick we did the tour by land and sea to see the rapids. I enjoyed the land part but not so much the sea part as we didn't see that much as the boat we were in was kind of small and had plastic for windows so you couldn't take pictures or see out so much.
