Because we wanted to see the Canadian Rockies as well as inland Alaska, we booked this 20 Day cruise tour through Princess. We were fortunate to book in July through a "flash sale" and received a super price.

We arrived in Calgary a day early and it was a good choice as there was a problem with our luggage. The bags arrived prior to departing the hotel but just barely. The Canadian portion included Fairmont hotels in Calgary, Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise & Vancouver which are fabulous properties.

The Canada portion included all breakfasts and some dinners and lunches. We also had a Gondola Ride in Banff and a ride onto the snow on Athabasca Glacier. Both were fun and we enjoyed our time. The Rocky Mountaineer railway was also part of the tour and we spent 2 days on the train with a stop overnight in Kamloops. The silver leaf service was included and we thought the service and food were above average. The scenery is amazing but we would have enjoyed only 1 day of train travel even with the wonderful scenic adventure. Overnight was at the Thompson Hotel & a meal voucher was included as well. Nothing fancy but certainly adequate.

Typical inside but was for 4 people with beds hanging on walls, This was awkward and we thought it was a safety issue because you hit them if you sat up in bed.
