We had high expectations of our Western Caribbean cruise after booking with Royal Caribbean but after spending a week on one of their ships would not be looking to repeat it anytime soon.

RC have shoehorned as many rooms onboard this as they can and everywhere you go it is packed and cramped. This is particularly true of the shows and around the pool area during at sea days.

The drinks are all mega expensive with a tipping policy that needs to be believed. Having charged top whack for a drink they then add 18% tip and if that isn't enough leave space for an extra tip. This led to two types of drinker on board. One that could only justify having the odd drink due to the price and another walking around permanently drunk in order to get some kind of value out of their overpriced drinks package.

Cabin Review

Family Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin FO

The cabin was on deck 12 and a super view out over the front of the ship and was well maintained by the cabin boy

Port Reviews

Falmouth

Missed Dunns River Falls due to an onboard fire and not being let off the ship in time.
