We had not been on HAL since 2008 and this cruise exceeded our expectations. Most of our comments are based on comparison with a number of recent RCL cruises. Booked this cruise because it hit a number of ports we had not visited. Pre cruise stayed at the Westin Europa & Regina, Venice (see review on tripadvisor)

HAL has an older demographic of passengers although there were some young European families on board that seemed to be enjoying themselves.

The Good:

Cabin Review

Large Outside Stateroom (partial sea views)

Port Reviews

Kotor

Nice walk-able port

Monaco (Monte Carlo)

Easy to get around with the day bus pass E5.50 pp

Saint-Tropez

Easy walking port
