This will have been about our 15th cruise. We have sailed various cruise lines, Carnival being our most frequent. Embarkation was quick and efficient. Lunch in the Lido was the usual. My issues begin with the Cruise Director. He made the announcement for the Safety Drill in a rude and condensating manner. All through the cruise he demonstrated lack of people skills. He had to be the worst Cruise Director I have encountered. Dining- we were seated initially in the Black Pearl at the back. We were subjected to stench of cigarette smoke coming from the Casino. The Maitre'd moved us next night to the Golfden Pearl with no issues there. Last few days of the cruise there was a shortsge of coffee in the mornings in the Lido. Entertainment-the comedians were good. The Carnival dancers were good but the male lead singer in shows left a lot to be desired. One night they did the show Vroom, which we had seen years ago. Carnival needs to update their "Las Vegas" style shows.
