Back from 2 weeks on board The Ncl Epic. This was a trip of two halves, the first week as a Solo, and the 2nd week with friends. I've sailed with Carnival 13 times and R.C.I. 5 times, so I think i'm in a pretty good position to give a fair review of what to expect from a cruise.

Firstly for anybody sailing alone, then having also sailed solo on both Carnival and R.C.I. solo, I was keen to try NCL, having read so many positive reviews.

I cannot recommend NCL any higher, they are superb at looking after Solo's, making it so easy to meet, then organizing meals, and social activities,so you never feel alone, except when you want your own space. Read more
