It was our first family cruise. We were a group of 7, with 3 young kids, and my parents. Unfortunately, it was the worst vacation experience we've ever had.

First of all, not RCL's fault, the weather was bad. We were only able to get off the ship at Nassau. The other two ports, we were not allowed to go due to the wind (its own island and Key West). Keep in mind, other cruise lines sailing at the same time were able to make it to Key West. Not sure what it was about, anyway, we were bored to death.

Then the shore excursion in Nassau was badly organized. We divided into two groups. DH took older kids to Atlantis Aqua Adventure, and I stayed with the baby and my parents for an Atlantis land tour. The Aqua group left earlier, but our group waited under the sun outside till last shuttle (more than 2 hrs). By then, everybody had left, and we were the only people left there and nobody even talked to us about it. We could took a taxi to go by ourselves if we knew it in advance, and pay much lower gate price at Atlantis by ourselves instead of booking through the cruise service.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Room was small with two small beds hanging from the wall. People sleeping below could easily bump the head (happened several times). Not enough storage. Bathroom was tiny, shower only, no tub. Window was large.
