If you are used to cruising on the larger ships (Royal C, Princess, Celebrity, etc.) this ship is not anywhere close to the larger ships, both in service and amenities. When things start to go wrong, it only gets worse, so we need to be careful not to mention the little aggravations.
But, there is no excuse for the unfriendliness of staff, especially in the dining room. It was difficult to find any staff that would smile. It appears that they hate their jobs. And the food was not up to standards one would expect on a cruise. Buffet presentations were unattractive and as expected, food was only on the warm side. It was a surprise to find that the serving times in the eating areas were limited. Finished or not, the food service for lunch closed a 2PM. But you did get a couple of hours for dinner. We bought some chocolate bars just in case we missed a meal. Shower tiles in our cabin were loose and came away stuck to one's foot. Overall, the ship was very tired and in need of restoration. Off the ship things were fine! Only banged head once on shelving over the bed.
