We loved this cruise. We had done a Viking river cruise 2 years ago, we had a fabulous time. When we heard they had an ocean cruise, we signed up immediately. The Viking Star is a fabulous ship. So many nooks and corners to explore and enjoy. We had a fantastic trip, our guides were great, we signed up for many tours and had a ball. We opted for a night time tour of the Grimaldi Palace and a private tour of the Vatican. Well worth the price.

The Food was outstanding. The Chef's Table was fabulous - so many different food and wine pairings. The service was great, the staff was eager to make sure your stay was exceptional. The cabin was very nice. The ship was exceptionally clean. The on-board Spa was a delight, bubbling pools, sauna, Jacuzzi and the special snow room was a big hit. There was music everywhere, classical trio, guitarist (sensational), the troupe of singers & dancers put on great shows, and a singer, Eve Sherrat, put on two fabulous shows. We were pampered all the way. There were many on board activities available too.

From the beginning, the information provided let us plan the trip we wanted. They made sure we and our luggage were transported from airport to hotel (we arrived early for 2 nights) to ship. Disembarkation: took us and our luggage to the airport in style, once we arrived at the airport a Viking representative ported our luggage to the airline check-in. I'd recommend Viking River Cruises and Ocean cruises to anyone who want a special vacation to remember.
