Having sailed on the Quantum 8 day inaugural last year, which was the worst cruise out of 75 i have ever been on, it was with much hesitation that we agreed to share a loft suite (10722) with friends. Normally, my wife and I book inside cabins. From the start, our experience boarding was excellent and all the technology functioned like it should. Once on board, the staff was warm and friendly like most RCL crew, so unlike the Quantum bozos! We were pleasantly surprised that all our excursion tickets (we pre-booked) were awaiting us in our cabin and were correct. We checked our pre - booked dinner reservations and it too was correct.
Since we set sail on Sept. 1st, there were very few children on the ship and those that were posed no problems. Additionally, our fellow passengers were enjoyable and there were no incidents of obnoxious drunkenness.
The entertainment on the ship was found to be excellent with both the main shows and the Music Hall venue. The other entertainment on the ship we found to be geared for the Brits, who were the predominant passengers and they, too were excellent. The Stow Away Piano player was outstanding. A MUST to experience, especially his performance in the elevator!
very short walking tour which was great then ate on our own the food is great
