Just got off the Veendam. The ship was great, they did a great job refurbishing an old ship, everything was in good shape. The cabin, we only had an inside, was great, lots of packing room, excellent AC/heat control! Food was only nediocre in the MDR. My wife was anticipating the lobster on the second formal night, however, it was so salty it was inedible and it also had a fishy smell to it. She was soo disappointed! Ports of call were good except they should skip Sydney and add another port. Sydney is a mining town with no mines!
