We have been of a number of Viking cruises, and although on this particular cruise there is not a great amount of sailing it is very relaxing, the area around Bordeaux is beautiful and the villages and vineyards you visit during this cruise are superb. Our Veranda A stateroom was very comfortable. The restaurant where it is open seating is first class and the food and service were again is excellent. The dinner prepared by the ships Chef and crew at Chateaux Kirwin in Bordeaux was exceptional and a real highlight of the cruise. We met some really lovely people also on this cruise, and again we were looked after so very well by the excellent Viking Staff on board. Embarkation and disembarkation were very efficient. Would do this cruise again.
