This was my first Viking cruise. I had heard from friends and relatives that the tours and service were excellent. I was not disappointed. We had several days of weather problems which caused us to stay in port or dock in locations not close to town. However, Viking did not miss a beat. They arranged transportation to ensure we made all tours, had a free happy hour for the inconvenience and went out of their way to make sure the trip went on as advertised. Pick up and departure transfers went flawlessly. Food was exceptional and wine/beer at meals were well enjoyed. As a follow-up we received travel vouchers for future cruises because of the "inconveniences" experienced, even though they had no control of the weather. Viking is everything advertised and my wife and I will be cruising with them again.
