I might mention that the air part of the trip was terrible (and scheduled by Viking) . Not booked directly to Shanghai (where tour began) but through Beijing. And not enought time to make connection. Missed flight, etc.
The breakfast buffets on the ship were outstanding (as were those in the hotels). The lunches and dinners were fine, but nothing outstanding.
I think the ship was ok for what it was. However, there wasn't a lot to see and the scenery got a little boring since they had damned up the river.
It was fine, but the A/C wasn't working too well. It seemed a bit damp and not that cool.
Terrible because we missed our flight in Beijing (Viking did not allow enough time to make connection to Shanghai where tour began. AND we found that there were DIRECT flights to Shanghai. So we missed the first day of our whole tour. NOT GOOD for Viking to have done this.
