200 passenger cruise ship launched 2014
Food and service are excellent.
BUT, although the rooms are spacious and comfortable the appointments are chintz from the formica era.
NO room safe; tiny flatscreen TV; no robes; no headsets for excursions; excursions and gratuities NOT included; several areas of docking are awful industrial piers (Chicago, Niagara Falls, Holland, and Toronto) and thus impossibe to step off the ship and even get a taxi into town!!
Having the same single entertainer (guitar singer) for 8 nites in a row is ridiculous.
There is no medical facility; a nurse comes to your room if needed.
Fitness area is on the upper deck, outdoors, thus never used! No elevator access to this deck which has lovely lounge areas.
The indoor lounge areas are totally inadequate for seating for 200 passengers. The space has been maximized for revenue generating rooms and minimized for passenger comfort.
Would be ok if the price was a low end, but ridiculous at the high end!
