First let me say that the ship was in very good shape and the crew was very friendly. Our cabin steward was nothing short of great. The ports were nice and we had great weather. We had a chance to see the "Northern Lights" while we were on the tour portion of the trip along with incredible view of Denali. Steve, our tour guide while at Denali was one of the most knowledgeable guides I have ever had the pleasure of listening to.

Now for the not so hot part!

We had pre-purchased our beverage package and we were quite happy with what we bought; however every time we ordered a drink we had to listen to a sales pitch telling us we should upgrade to the higher package. When we went to the dining room or the buffet, we had to listen to one of the staff trying to sell us a "Specialty Dining Package." It got so old that I tried just saying no as soon as they walked up and that still did not detour the dedicated sales reps, they just kept going and going just like the energizer bunny. Read more
