Was fortunate to be on the maiden voyage of the Lofn on April 6, 2015 out of Amsterdam. From the moment of arrival to the day of departure the on board cruise experience was exceptional. The Lofn crew and staff could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. My cabin exceeded my level of expectation relative to comfort, style, and convenience. The dining experiences were noteworthy particularly in view of the fact the dining room staff did not have the advantage of working together for a period of time prior to this particular cruise experience. The quality and selection of foods were equally exceptional. In addition to the scheduled meals, Viking provided an assortment of snacks throughout the day which added to the pleasure of the cruise. Most of the shore excursions were extremely interesting and well planned and highly organized. Disembarkation day was a sad day because I felt as though I was leaving friends and the comfort of truly exceptional accommodations. Due to the positive experiences created by Viking and the Lofn staff, I've already booked an additional Viking travel experience to China in March of 2016. Viking will always be my preferred method of group travel in the future. My thanks go to all Viking employees who contributed to a very pleasurable travel time.
