My 4th cruise with Carnival and my first one since 2008. Disappointing overall. Lines and lines for food. Long waits for room service. Unfriendly guest services. Nothing at all like my first 3 cruises with Carnival.

Galveston was "less friendly" than Long Beach, where my prior 3 cruises embarked from.

Enjoyed Cozumel. We did the Twister excursion. The only bad thing are the mosquitoes at Isla De Passion. It's the price you pay. We had fun.

Cabin 8C

A/C did not blow nearly as cool as my brother who was right next door in 7425. The bathroom door did not latch when we had it and they were unable to fix it while at sea.

Port Reviews

Galveston

Dirty, Loud, Hot, Rude

Cozumel

Great time on boat and doing ocean activities. Would be a 5 if not for the mosquitoes that eat you alive.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Decent scenery but not worth the travel time to get to and from.

Montego Bay

Pleasantly surprised. We did some casual shopping and it was very much like shopping the Mexican Rivera.
