I've been on Royal Princess before as well as five other Princess ships and all cabins are very much the same, spacious, comfortable and adequate.

Know it well!! I worked in Cork over 30 years ago and so we spent time with friends there.

Excellent tour with an excellent guide he explained a lot about the history and geography of the province and even explained the 'Troubles' and the peace process tactfully and evenly. Giant's Causeway has been ruined by that ugly black 'interpretive centre' which will never make any money, for you can still access the coast free!!

Took the train to Glasgow, but my wife really loves Greenock and so we looked at estate agents windows to get an idea!

Shore excursion was OK, but guide's thick and heavy Orcadian accent was hard on my ears!!

There is a fairly good train service to Inverness - use it!!!

Invergordon (Inverness)

Travelled around on the city's new trams. Not bad for £1.50 single fare.

Edinburgh (South Queensferry)

The poor guide tried to control a bunch of bullying Americans. when the guide and I spoke alone (We both know Normandy very well), she came across as an excellent guide but sadly was stressed by a bunch of bullying American geriatrics.

The rest of the passengers were made up from approx 400-500 Canadian, approx 130-140 British with the remainder made up of Australian, New Zealand, South African, Irish and Philippines.Dublin: We were being collected by friends who drove up to the ship and off we went for a pub lunch south of the city.
